Irymple bats starting to roll

A MORE structured batting line-up has driven Irymple’s recent improvement, coach Shane Garraway says.

Irymple have bowled well throughout season but have been less consistent batting, an area that has seemingly been rectified leading into another must-win game against Workers Gol Gol this round.

Like Workers Gol Gol, Irymple have won their two games since Christmas – each against finals contenders –  after firing with bat and ball.

“It’s been really good since Christmas, we’ve really improved our game,” Garraway said. “We’re starting to get a structured batting order now and those partnerships have been crucial and it showed in the West game and against Setts last week.”
