HARVESTING of table grapes is well underway and this year’s crop is “looking good”, according to Australian table grape growers association chief executive Jeff Scott.

“Everyone is looking forward to a good year, we’ve had a lot of enquiries from our importers and we are expecting a very good volume to be exported,” Mr Scott said.

“The heat waves could have been damaging to the crops if it had happened in November or December but growers kept their grapes watered and protected it from sunburn so there are no heat damages on the crops.
