LOCAL families have been left devastated after a group of six puppies for sale were believed to have been stolen from an address in Poplar Road, Curlwaa overnight Monday.
The puppies, Bullmastiff cross Ridgeback breed, belonged to Jess Carr and had already been promised to several families who had placed cash deposits on the animals.
Ms Carr woke early yesterday morning to find six of the litter were missing from a laundry separate to the family home, with the laundry door left ajar.
One of the missing puppies was found abandoned in a vacant lot on Memorial Road, Curlwaa yesterday.
