You couldn’t end the annual Christmas Tree Display if you tried, which Mildura Tourism information officer Judie Driscoll knows from experience.
“A few years ago we decided it’s getting old so we’ll stop but the community didn’t like that so we kept going,” she said.
Right now there are 17 trees on display at the Alfred Deakin Centre from various community groups and schools.
The Mildura Jazz Club is one such group that is taking part and has used the event to make something good out of vandalism.
