IN a win for tastebuds and tourism, Mildura’s popular Vintage Catering Co. will now be housed in a more permanent structure along the riverfront.

Yesterday a shipping container was craned into position, near the Water Play Park, ready for the fit out to begin.

The business has been operating from a small caravan near the same site for the past two years, with Vintage Catering Co. owners Robbie and Kathryn Neville confident the move will allow the cafe to grow and better compete in the local cafe market.

“We needed space to grow and to be more competitive. We needed a bigger menu where we could offer a broader range of items,” Mr Neville said.
