LOWER Murray Water (LMW) is doing its bit to save power.
LMW has put its money where its mouth is, taking its headquarters off the grid and on to a generator to free up electricity for the rest of the state.
It is part of a move by the Australian Energy Market Operator to get high-energy using businesses to reduce the power they use to make sure the country has enough electricity this summer.
LMW customer and stakeholder executive manager Andrew Kremor said the move was a win for everyone.
