IT is hoped more girls from Sunraysia will have the opportunity to play in the TAC Cup girls competition, which is expanding in 2018.

The elite female under 18 pathway competition has a nine-round fixture over 11 weeks next year, up from five rounds last season.

Five Sunraysia girls are initially participating as part of the extended squad for the 2018 Bendigo Pioneers’ girls program and recently began training under regional coach Nathan Manuel.
