SUNRAYSIA will have two Formula Ford drivers in action at the Island Magic meeting at Phillip Island this weekend.

Along with reigning Victorian No.3 Hamish Ribarits of Trentham Cliffs, Mildura’s Blaine Grills will step up to Formula Ford for his first meeting in the category after finishing his Formula VEE career earlier this month as No.1 in South Australia, second in Victoria and fourth in Australia.

Grills’ new car, a Spectrum 011C Duratec, has already been tested with its new driver and on those times would have qualified within the top 10 of the final national round of Formula Ford – with hopes of finishing around the top five this weekend.
