AS one of only two CFA brigades in Sunraysia with a junior volunteer firefighter program, Red Cliffs Fire Brigade is committed to teaching young people essential life skills.

Anyone aged between 11 and 15 can become a junior member of the brigade, as long as they can commit to a couple of hours training each Monday after school.

The juniors also take part in competitions throughout the year, and in the winter months, they learn essential firefighting skills at the station.
