Wednesday afternoon’s heavy downpour across Sunraysia left Nichols Point Reserve waterlogged and unusable for today’s SCA match between the Pointers and Mildura Settlers.

NICHOLS Point and Mildura Settlers’ Sunraysia Cricket Association round 5 First Division game scheduled for today will be played as a one-day fixture next weekend.

Wednesday afternoon’s heavy downpour across Sunraysia left Nichols Point Reserve in no condition to host a match.

On Thursday evening, when the club’s junior and senior players trained, there were pools of water on one side of the oval that were still present yesterday.

Bark chips from the playground had also been washed into the nets and the pavilion was flooded.
