COOMEALLA High School organised its first Good on Ya! Hair Day yesterday in a bid to reward well-behaved students.

Twenty students from Year 7 to 11 had their hair styled by SuniTAFE hairdressing students as part of the Good on Ya! program, initiated by student wellbeing teacher Nadein Mayfield.

Ms Mayfield said the aim was to make the students who “do the right thing” feel proud of themselves and realise the teaching staff recognised and valued good behaviour.
