Remembrance Day in Mildura: A duty of freedom

That single line from the Prayer of Remembrance read by Army Reservist Private Matt MacGillivray at the Mildura Remembrance Day service on Saturday encapsulated why crowds still turn out to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in times of war.

While numbers were down on past years largely due to weekend events and being a non-school day, veterans, dignitaries and all who now enjoy freedom because of those past sacrifices gathered at Henderson Park to remember.
