Victoria leave South Australia in their wake

VICTORIA claimed state bragging rights over South Australia on Saturday in one of the few wakeboard competitions Mildura has hosted.

The second biennial Wakeboard State of Origin brought together more than 30 riders in an exhibition contest on the Murray River at the Mildura Rowing Club.

It featured open, advanced, invert, straight air and rookie divisions with riders representing each state earning points towards a cumulative team total.
