Helium balloons have made communication for residents of Puerto Rico slightly easier.
Alphabet’s Project Loon has provided internet service for about 100,000 Puerto Ricans.
Project Loon involves using a fleet of stratospheric helium balloons to act like a network of floating cell towers.
While the technology was originally meant to help people in isolated and rural areas get connected, Alphabet last month partnered with AT&T and T-Mobile to bring connectivity to huricane-stricken Puerto Rico.
