Trip down memory lane

They say you can’t go back home, but Nintendo might just tie you up and drag you back there by force if it has to.

The SNES Classic is nostalgic but I haven’t had nearly as much fun as I thought I would.

While I haven’t been playing my SNES Classic habitually since I got it, it’s a fun little device that takes me back to some of the games of my childhood while helping me discover some of the great games of the early ’90s that I missed the first time around.

For those that don’t know, the SNES Classic is a re-release of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, originally released in 1990 in Japan, with several of its greatest games preloaded.

For me, replaying some of these games was less like a walk down memory lane and more like trying to revisit a fever dream.
