Sunraysia children have used art to show what is most important to them.

The 2018 Special Forever – Voices of the Children exhibition opened last night, showcasing the artwork of students from 12 primary schools in the region.

Exhibition co-ordinator and Sacred Heart Primary school teacher Rosemarie Zalec said many artworks seemed to revolve around water in this year’s exhibition.

“There are a lot of messages about water – some really good, strong messages because the river is so powerfully connected to our life here,” Ms Zalec said.
