ELLY Davison, Jorja Rowe, Louella McCarthy and Mollie McKendrick have made history.
The four women’s footballers have been picked up by South Adelaide for the club’s inaugural venture into the South Australian National Football League women’s competition, the Statewide Super Women’s League, from 2018.
Gol Gol’s Davison, Werrimull’s Rowe – both based locally – and Nangiloc’s McCarthy will step up to the competition while basketballer McKendrick switches to an oval ball.
Davison already has a link to the Panthers, with boyfriend Joseph Haines a league footballer there.
