Glory driven: Josh Waters joins ‘legends’ by winning third Superbike championship

MILDURA’S newest Australian champion Josh Waters is eyeing off a fourth Australian Superbike championship next year.

Fresh off becoming a triple winner at the weekend (after wins in 2009 and 2012), the 30-year-old reflected on his achievements to date which have put him up in the top bracket of Australian motorsport.

“It’s pretty special, there’s only three guys who have won the premier championship three times. I look at those guys as legends and I don’t consider myself the same,” he said.
