SCARECROWS are helping to instil sustainable thinking and community spirit in Nichols Point Primary School students.
Year 5 and 6 students have made 36 scarecrows, which will be entered into the Cardross Spring Show scarecrow competition.
Teacher Julia Mugavin said there was a strong focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in the Year 5-6 unit, which the scarecrow project is linked into.
