Rowan Tegart leads Josh Waters during a keenly contested race at the Shuffs Cup meet at the weekend. Money raised from the charity event went to the Mildura Lifeline Project.

NORTH West Victorian Motorcycle Club (NWVMC) raised about $3000 for a cause close to its heart with the eighth running of the Shuffs Cup.

Club representatives presented a cheque of the proceeds to the Mildura Lifeline Project – a volunteer group raising the funds required to bring a Lifeline call centre to Mildura – yesterday.

A huge field competed in the annual charity event last weekend, held in honour of club member Duane Woodberry, with riders travelling from South Australia, Broken Hill and across Victoria for the meeting.
