A PAIR of former AFL footballers are now SFNL reserves premiership players after Ouyen United’s win over Irymple on Saturday.

Ex-Richmond cult figure Relton Roberts and former Carlton player Laurie Angwin played valuable roles for the Kangas after returning to the club they previously represented in the Mallee Football League before Ouyen United and Walpeup-Underbool merged and joined the SFNL.

Roberts’ arrival at the club this season, in particular, caused a stir on social media with news the two-game Tiger would play for the Kangas going viral.
