NISSAN Motorsport drivers spent time in the Mildura region to prepare for this weekend’s Sandown 500 and upcoming endurance rounds of the Supercars championship.
The team held its annual pre-enduro training camp on Todd and Rick Kelly’s family property last weekend.
Swiss rookie Simona De Silvestro said it was about team building rather than physical training and unlike anything she had done in Europe or the US.
“It was a big team-bonding effort, it was just the drivers and co-drivers. We got through some fun stuff like driving the buggies through the sand dunes,” she told Supercars.com.
