HIGH-profile Melbourne lawyer Richard Leder is no stranger to attention-grabbing cases involving the biggest names in the Australian media.

But when Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson hired him in her fight to clear her name after an Australian gossip magazine accused her of lying about her upbringing and age, Leder found himself at the centre of a case that turned heads around the world.

Leder, a partner with the national firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has represented Sunraysia Daily for about 30 years, the Mildura newspaper being one of his longest-standing clients.
