Ms Gray will trek more than 70km of the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory over seven days.

“It’s a trekking challenge that aims to raise money for White Ribbon Australia projects,” she said.

“The challenge was for the group to raise $100,000 and, as a whole, we raised more than $200,000, which is awesome.

“My goal was to raise $3000, so I was really happy to raise $3600, it was a surprise.”

Ms Gray decided to take part in the challenge after seeing it advertised on Facebook.
