Animals teach kids about life

IRYMPLE South Primary School’s newest arrivals have been a popular attraction among the students and teachers.

On Tuesday, the students welcomed two lambs from Ouyen along with nine baby chickens.

Environmental team leader Sue Rowland said it had been as exciting 21 days for the students who have been patiently waiting for the chickens to hatch.

“The environmental program is evolving and is about exposing the children to the basics of life,” she said.
