Slow food seeks global reach

SLOW Food Mildura representatives will attend international events in China and Japan in the next two months to plan for the future of food production.

Slow Food Mildura leader Deb Bogenhuber will attend the Slow Food International Congress in Chengdu, China, as one of five Australian dele­gates.

Ms Bogenhuber said the congress was held to determine the direction of Slow Food until the next congress.

“This is the first time someone from Mildura is going and I’m looking forward to reporting back to our local food community,” she said.
