ONE of the most talented riders the Sunraysia region has produced will be remembered at the eighth running of the annual Shuff’s Cup tomorrow.

Hosted by North West Victorian Motorcycle Club, the charity dirt track meeting is held in honour of champion multiple-discipline rider Duane “Shuffs” Woodberry, who passed away nine years ago.

Mildura rider Jason Stewart, who was a close friend  of Woodberry, said the memorial meeting paid tribute to “an outstanding motorcycle rider” while continuing the club’s long history of holding an annual charity weekend.

“They used to call it the Make A Wish Weekend, which was dirt track on the Saturday and motocross on the Sunday,” Stewart said.
