STUDENTS from La Trobe University Mildura campus, RMIT and SuniTAFE transformed the building walls of the Mildura CBD to an outback light show on Saturday.

The students worked collaboratively in groups of two and three during a three-day workshop run by Cultivator at 29 Deakin Avenue – the historic building that housed the Mildura Cultivator newspaper 100 years ago.

RMIT lecturer Russell Kerr said the workshop enabled the students to network and work on a large scale project.

“The workshop has been around food and culture,” he said.
