As reported by Sunraysia Daily in January this year, the Sunraysia-based solar park is expected to provide 100 megawatts (MW) of solar powered electricity.

It will join the Numurkah Solar Farm near Shepparton in creating 138 MW of new large scale solar projects to power Melbourne’s tram network and bring forward an additional investment of $198 million and generate about 325 jobs in regional Victoria during construction.
