A MAN who appeared on a Crime Stoppers list of Australia’s 20 most wanted people has handed himself in at Dareton police station.
Jayson Aworth, 41, was wanted by Barrier Local Area Command detectives over four alleged aggravated indecent assault offences in Curlwaa earlier this year.
About 8am yesterday, Aworth went to Dareton police station, where he was arrested.
“It appears the accused became aware that his photograph was published and as a result, that’s why he turned himself in,” Dareton Inspector Stuart Gordon said.
