Rachel Billett says a career outdoors was the obvious choice for a farm girl.

GROWING up on a sheep farm, Rachel Billett has never been one to shy away from getting her hands dirty.

“I was always out and about in the paddocks,” Rachel said. 

“I watched and learned the ropes from an early age, and so it was a natural transition for me as an adult to want a career in the ­outdoors.”

Rachel now works as a farm hand for ­Select Harvests at Lake Powell, performing duties such as pest control, irrigation and machinery driving.
