I HAVE fond memories of my first ever electric motor, bought more than 20 years ago.
The small tiller Minn Kotta motor was rated at 32lb thrust and would silently glide my tinny along the Glenelg River in search of the elusive mulloway.
This stealthy approach has been the key to many captures over the years and while my first model has long since passed, I have continued to update every few years in order to keep the angling edge.
The introduction of the electric motor onto the fishing scene changed the face of fishing.
