Growers walk in a winter wonderland

THE bees are working their magic on almond trees across the Mallee.

Thousands of bee hives have been placed in almond groves across Sunraysia, including at Hardeep Singh’s Red Cliffs property.

In Robinvale about 100,000 hives have been delivered by 175 beekeepers from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.

An apiarist from Horsham has supplied 150 bee hives to pollinate Mr Singh’s almond trees.
