‘You go for it, girls’: Champions share their wisdom with school students

Former Olympian Nova Peris and two-time Brazilian jiu jitsu world champion Shantelle Thompson told attendees of the Koorie Girls’ Conference to follow their dreams.

About 60 Mildura Senior College and Chaffey Secondary College students took part in the two-day conference this week.

Ms Peris and Ms Thompson were the guest speakers of the event, both sharing their stories of success and breaking down barriers.
