AN interim report on an inquiry into the Fire Services Bill tabled yesterday has revealed “personality clashes” between volunteer and staff firefighters in Mildura. 

The Fire Services Bill Select Committtee was established by the Legislative Council to consider and report on a proposed restructure of Victoria’s fire services. 

More than 1500 submissions and the transcripts from seven public hearings have been released to the public, including last month’s hearing in Swan Hill attended by Country Fire Authority (CFA) Mildura Brigade acting officer in charge, Mick Sporton and first lieutenant Hayden Smith.
