ROBINVALE police want residents to “bee” on the lookout for about 40 beehives that were reported stolen from a property in Tol Tol on Saturday.
The beehives, which look like timber boxes, are estimated to be worth $20,000.
The beehives also contained thousands of bees at the time they were stolen, with the exact number unknown.
Senior Sergeant Sean Halley said police hadn’t determined if the hives were stolen in a single sting or over a longer period of time.
