ROBINVALE Storm set up a preliminary final clash with Mildura Tigers this weekend after a convincing win over Murray Darling Eels.
Both Sunraysia Rugby League semi-final fixtures at McLeod Oval, Wentworth, on Saturday began with a minute’s silence in tribute to former Titans captain Tupou Taulanga.
This also gave players the opportunity to pray for Robinvale Storm players Solomone Fauvoa and Sione Taimani, who are working through rehabilitation in hospitals in Melbourne.
The early exchanges in the elimination semi-final between the Eels, who hosted the defending premiers Storm, showed both sides had come to play.
The Storm’s Wesley Ale was first to cross the chalk and Francisco Taimani converted for a 6-0 lead.
