Caravan park gets tick for alcohol

WENTWORTH Shire Council has voted in favour of approving a development application for the Curlwaa Caravan Park to sell packaged liquor at a kiosk.

Caravan park owner Richard Young said he was pleased with the decision after the application was knocked back previously in a council meeting in May.

While addressing the council meeting yesterday, Mr Young said a packaged liquor licence would support tourism growth to the region.
