PROVIDING a permanent space for local artists to discuss their projects and brainstorm ideas is on the cards for the Wentworth Makers group following the success of the weekend’s Meet the Makers exhibition.

In conjunction with the Wentworth Junction Rally, 12 of the group’s artists displayed everything from mosaics and children’s books to metal work and handmade accessories to about 300 people who streamed through the Wentworth Town Hall.

Makers member Anne Spudvilas said the day also provided an opportunity for the public to meet the talented people behind the work.
