MERBEIN dried vine fruit grower Tony Martin has just experienced his longest season, but is still happy with the quality of his crop.

He wrapped up his 2017 harvest only on June 30, after a late start to the season during the last week of January.

“It was very long because I have some varieties here that was caught with the rain in late April, sunglo and sunmuscat,” Mr Martin said.

“The majority of that was still hanging on when we had that big rain, so it just took us a while to get that harvested and dehydrated,” he said.
