THIS year’s Wentworth Junction Rally was one for the history books as 40 craft including paddle-steamers gathered at the iconic location, taking onlookers on a journey into the past.
Sunny winter conditions attracted about 2500 locals and visitors to the riverbanks on Saturday alone and Wentworth Junction Rally committee secretary Cathryn Dawes was overwhelmed by the response.
“It was just amazing,” Ms Dawes said. “It was a truly fantastic day and it was wonderful to see locals and people from everywhere including Warrnambool, Horsham, Gawler come out to the event.
