SUNRAYSIA Junior Football League clubs have been put on notice about their roles and responsibilities to the children under their care.

A junior football forum held this week and attended by each SJFL club identified a number of key issues based on both formal and informal feedback, according to AFL Victoria Sunraysia football development manager Trevor Ryan.

Ryan said policies – including cultural awareness, the equalis­ation rule, the mercy rule, Auskick development and the role and responsibilities of junior coaches – were reinforced at the forum.
