WATER ski racer Jack Stevens is gearing up for the biggest event of his life as he finishes training for the upcoming World Water Ski Racing Championships in Seattle.
The now Melbourne-based Pigs Arsenal skier will race with the Nipple Ski Racing Team in the F2 men at the worlds, getting some last training in this weekend and for one day next week before departing on Saturday.
In the middle of an American summer, Stevens said he was looking forward to getting to the warmer climates after his past three months training.
“It’s cold and wet in Melbourne so it’s not much fun,” he said.
