HE has by no means “made it”, but Victorian Bushranger Will Pucovski hopes his career to date could be an example for up-and-coming cricket players.
The 19-year-old batsman, who broke through for one Sheffield Shield game last season, said he was still trying to find his way in the cricketing world after a meteoric rise in the past 12 months.
Pucovski was named player of the championships after an extraordinary four centuries as part of 650 runs in eight innings at the 2016-17 Under 19 National Championships in Adelaide, a performance that spurred him on to his first-class debut.
