Fuel price relief expected

AFTER months of Sunraysia’s petrol prices hovering around the 128 cents mark it’s likely we will soon experience relief at the bowser after the wholesale price of petrol hit a seven-month low.

Across the past two months unleaded petrol prices in the region remained stagnant, with a low of 127.9 cents per litre earlier this week after peaking at 1.30 cents in mid-April.

With the wholesale price of petrol on a gradual slide and yesterday hitting 111.9 cents per litre, experts predict savings will soon be passed onto retailers.
