SOUTH-west NSW schools look set to miss out on a slice of $2.2 billion of infrastructure upgrades.
Yesterday’s state government announcement to improve NSW schools for the next two years failed to make it past Griffith, with the government’s own details showing no funding for school or classroom upgrades had taken place in Sunraysia in the past six years.
The void in funding extends back to when Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli, was Education Minister and has continued since former Parliamentary Secretary for Western NSW, Sarah Mitchell, stepped into the role of Assistant Education Minister.
