Our fruit off to fair

THE Federal Government has provided funding for Australian dried vine fruit to be promoted at a trade fair in Beijing in November.

Dried Fruits Australia has received more than $11,500 for a trade mission to attend the China Fruit and Vegetable Trade Fair in Beijing, which will run from November 17 to 19. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources Barnaby Joyce said sending a delegation from the Australian dried grape industry to China would enable it to expand its market opportunities.
