A RED Cliffs drop-off point will accept unregistered firearms and other weapons as part of a nation-wide crackdown on dangerous weapons and unlicensed firearms.
There were 277 weapons and explosive offences in the Mildura local government area (LGA) for the year to March 2017, which represented a 25.3 per cent rise since 2016.
All states and territories will be participating in the National Firearms Amnesty from July 1 to September 30, 2017.
