TRAINER Malcolm Retallick had a successful day out at his home track after achieving a winning double, including filling the quinella with Tippitinya and Primo Tapia in the Country Clothing and Furniture Pace at the Ouyen trots meeting yesterday.
Retallick was also successful with the newcomer to his stable, American Tour, who had a comfortable win in the opening event on the program.
American Tour was able to find the lead in the early stages and was never in danger of defeat from then on, winning with plenty in hand at the finish to record a 4.9m win in a 1:59.8 mile rate for Melton reinsman John Caldow.
