BRAINY beauty Simone Smith described herself as a “tomboy” and a “bit of a nerd” while growing up in Nichols Point.
In her younger years she shied away from the camera and found catwalks “intimidating”.
But next month she will represent the state as one of eight Victorians competing on a national stage in the Miss World Australia pageant.
